wedding films that celebrate love and touch the heart

Documenting one of the most important days of our lives is a way to create memories that last forever…

Fly Daddy Flown

What is the connection between fiction and nonfiction?  With the dramatization of someone’s life on the big screen, we accept much of what we see to be real, based on facts.  In American Gangster, Denzel Washington plays Frank Lucas. In Goodfellas, Ray Liotta plays Henry Hill.  But back home in Harlem after 34 years in prison, Earl Foddrell is just being himself.

After the Brass Teapot

The dust has settled on the search for the Brass Teapot, and one need look no further than to see this, the true purpose of my efforts – that of shining a light on a marvelous feature film, The Brass Teapot, by director Ramaa Mosley.  Run to your neighborhood multiplex or view it on iTunes in the comfort of your own home.

Late in the year 2010, I answered a call to direct a documentary film.  When I spoke with the producer, I was offered the job of pretending to be a documentary film director of a film pretending to be a documentary instead.  Much like Judas’ betrayal in exchange for a few pieces of silver, I set aside my principles and embarked on this strange journey.

What I discovered along the way is that “the truth” is whatever we want it to be.  All it takes is a general consensus and a tall tale becomes the real story.  Romulus and Remus were the founders of ancient Rome.  Were they not?

As far as I’m concerned, the information contained in this blog is a fiction masquerading as nonfiction.  Everyone portrayed in these short films is an actor reading from a script.  If the story presented here seems truthful, it’s because you interpret it that way.  We all want to believe in something.

The Brass Teapot – At Long Last Ling

I am a seeker, one not easily discouraged in the search for truth.  I have interviewed many individuals on the subject of the legendary Brass Teapot and find myself at the point where there are still more questions than answers.  Traveling to China for a much anticipated meeting with the noted researcher Dr. Ling, I held out brave hopes that here I would come closer to resolving my quest.  In this video journal entry you will be able to see for yourself and draw your own conclusions.  Needless to say, I am yet to get my hands on the teapot, though if there is anyone with new information, please don’t hesitate to contact me at this web address.  Thank you.
